is long and daunting we should embark on it today because every day we
delay invites more dangers and instability.
We are fortunate to live in an age in which technology provides us with good, clean,
viable alternatives to oil. But to get our society to embrace them we need strong
public awareness and political will. This is what IAGS is dedicated to promote.
Our public education campaign will inform a broad audience on the true cost of
our oil economy, the growing risks involved in perpetuating it and the different
paths available to energy independence and global security.
To make IAGS the best source of news and commentary in the field of energy security
and technological innovation, we need your help.
We need to hire more full-time researchers, commission high-quality studies from
leading experts in the field, and distribute our material to
millions of Americans.
As a non-profit public educational organization we would like to maintain an
independent posture. We therefore accept no government funding or endowments.
